How to Stay Away From Fashion Faux Pas

How to Stay Away From Fashion Faux Pas

Let us be honest with ourselves, almost every fashion savvy lady has gone through a wardrobe malfunction at some point in their lives. Today, wardrobe malfunction is no longer news even though a lot of ladies are getting the headlines with embarrassing indecent exposure of their body parts in the public. The history of this incident was coined in the mid 2000s and has become a common fashion faux pas that is seen in our everyday lives.

You may not be under pressure as a celebrity to prevent some cloth accident or nip slip but this does not mean that you would feel less embarrassed when these incidents happen.  This means anyone can suffer from these often ill-timed fashion glitches. This wardrobe malfunctions are not going to leave our world, it has come to stay. And it is the ladies who are always in a position to challenge the cultural norms when it comes to their attitudes, appearances and performances that these mishaps often occur to when they try to make a fashion statement

However, you should avoid this fashion faux pas if you would want to remain on the top of your game without dirty dents. Instead of praying for the ground to open and get you swallowed, there are simple ways you can use in preventing it. We have listed some ways of staying away from this wardrobe meltdown in the public.

Carry pins

You cannot stay away from safety pins if you would want to avoid some embarrassments.  With a safety pin, you can replace a hook on a bra, keep a button on a coat, tighten your shoulder straps, hold a skirt around your waist, and prevent a shirt from exposing a bra or flying open and many more. There is no end to the possibilities of safety pins if you have them in your handbag.

Contrasting innerwear

Whatever attire you are going to put on, you should make sure you go for a prudent choice when you are selecting the inner wear to make use of.  In our modern day, taking photographs in events has become the order of the day. And with the introduction of sharing information on the social network like Facebook and Instagram, you should not be caught in contrast colours of underwear with your dress. It is preferred you avoid underwear that has seams as its outlines will be visible.

Deodorant marks

You may not know when you would be forced to raise your hands in the public. This may not be a problem if you are in the habit of spraying a deodorant constantly. This does not mean if you love deodorant you would have an issue if you can invest in a deodorant removing sponge. Your best dress can be a disaster if a deodorant ends up giving it a stain. The way you can avoid this stain is by allowing the deodorant to absorb before putting on your clothes. Of course, you do not need a lot of this deodorant when going out.
