Ankara Stone
Do you know how to stone ankara cloth using the iron?
You canfollow the steps below:
I.) When the iron is cold, simply place the iron with its foot facing upwards.
II.) Gently place the stones on the foot of the iron. You can arrange the stones randomly or in the shape of the pattern you want to create while it is still cold.
III.) Next, turn the iron on and allow it to heat up until you can see that the adhesive side of the stones has started fusing and becoming sticky.
IV.) Using paper towels, wrap your fingers and gently pick the stones one by one with the help of a needle, and insert it into the sticky layer.
V.) Quickly but carefully, turn the stones the glued side down directly above the place where they are supposed to be fixed and then press them to the fabric with a finger wrapped into a paper towel.
This method requires speed and carefulness before the glue fuses out. Just an average iron foot can contain over 100 stones at once but you have to handle the gluing process quickly.
