The Batakari, also known as Fugu is traditional attire predominant in the northern part of Ghana, which is worn by both men and women. The position of the Fugu can show rank, status, etc. For instance, If the cap is turned to the left, it denotes that the wearer is royalty. If the cap is work upright, it means that the person wearing it has the highest status or rank. If the cap is turned to the back, it means the wearer has followers. Then, if the cap is pointed forward, it means that there is nobody is behind the wearer and warriors mostly wear this style.
